What type of oil for pw50

First question is, can I run Motul 15W50 4 stroke oil in the engine I have the required amount left over from my last XR oil change and second question is what premix oil are you all running in the fuel. It still has the oil injection connected model. Do most people disconnect the auto injection and just premix the fuel?

They dirty up the oil real quick! Castrol tts is ok for injector systems I believe. Cheap n full syn. I jus run same fuel as my bikes at the moment on Fuchs silkolene pro kart-smells delish!

Comment Post Cancel. I bought the kids pw50 11 years ago and have always used a 10 40 in gearbox , as for the auto lube, no issues ever and used a lot of different 2 stroke oils. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk. Yamalube, from the Yamaha shop Dr Drift. Its the cheap one. Never had an issue it used hardly any oil. ALso kept the injected system. The stuff isn't really expensive so looking for "more available" options isn't really cost effective unless there is no motorcycle shop within a 30 minute drive.

My son raced his pw50 all year including a 5th place overall finish and a Silver Medal 2nd place moto finish at Loretta Lynns last year with Type F ATF in the gearbox and Motul in the oil injection tank.

Ok, I broke out the owner's manual. And you will need about. I apologize if I have caused any confusion, it has been 3 years since my son has even ridden his PW50, so my recollection is a little fuzzy.
