Whether this is enough will depend on the usage you intend. Mine is almost exclusively used at home and I stream a lot of thing from iTunes so don't actually use a lot of on board storage so for me I went for the 16GB and the money saved pays for apps, movies etc to use with it. If you are out and about you are going to want to store a lot more onboard. The following thread covers the same topic and you might find it useful. Also thank you for the link. Graham UK. User profile for user: keyboardoperator keyboardoperator. Throw a bunch of HQ movies on there, a decent music collection, plus photos and apps, and you're full. Usable space on the 64 is really about 60GB. Note there are some HD apps that are in the hundreds of megs. User profile for user: rimshaker rimshaker. And dont forget iPad apps are generally larger than iPhone apps. I never let them linger and take up space on my iPod. If you're one who likes to download a lot of Apps and has an extensive music library you should look into a 32GB.
I was very conservative with my usage - mostly because 8GB was all I thought I would need. If I could do it again, I'd have gotten a 16GB.

Mar 16, PM in response to Graham UK In response to Graham UK Considering many of the apps for iPad in the high 's mb iBird Pro HD is MB, which is 1GB basically, but that's if you like birds, like I do hehheh , and depending on what you are actually going to put on it I do not put music on it as I use Audio Galaxy to stream my music from my computer from anywhere I am at with wifi, and there are video stream apps too, but I admit I have about 21 movies on my iPad but in apps alone I think I am using most of the storage on the 64GB version of the iPad.
I am really at a loss why Apple didn't increase the storage on the iPad, especially since many of the apps are so large, people will want movies and music on their device, and people may even want to read ebooks, like I do. With other devices out there, like the Android tablets, they include an SD slot where you can increase storage.
Don't know why Apple is so behind on technology and still has not implemented SD storage if only for photos, books and music at the very least. Perhaps in the iPad 3? Who knows? Will you actually need 64GB? Can you get by on 16GB? How do you know? Back to the iPad. There are a few kinds of uses where it makes sense to upgrade to 64GB in the iPad Air 2 or iPad mini 3. If you plan to use your iPad as a video camera for anything more than a some fun clips, get 64GB. Once you start shooting video or taking a lot of photos and editing them, you can start eating up storage space fast. This is doable, of course, but it can get annoying. Do you want to use your iPad for fun things, for work, or do you want to waste your life transferring data all over the place?
Free expedited shipping on most Apple products. For example, BioShock is 1. Infinity Blade III is 1. Sure, you can play a game and then delete it, but then you lose all your progress in the game.
