The last time I played on a public server someone showed up with an aimbot and just kept killing everyone with the railgun, as they always do.
Everyone left the server once they realized a cheater was present. I was the last one there, and I told him, "This is what cheating gets you. Nobody wants to play anymore. We're all leaving, so who will you play with now?
Ruining other people's fun was his fun. It's pathetic that people have to be this way, but that's human nature for you. For me the most dangerous people are not actually the hackers. Hackers can be kicked out or ignored. The most annoying people are those that go around calling everbody a hacker in a game. Those are the people that really destroy a community because they do even more damage to the trust and respect the players have for each other.

People that go out of their way to label legit players as cheaters to get them banned are just cheating in another way, and probably the worst way.
