From what I remember of it, the book presented the view points of the original Mothers towards the history of the band. I read it a few years ago and don't have it with me now, but I would recommend reading it. Definitely a good read. I got this back in , as an early Mother's fan I was itching to read it - and wasn't disappointed. Like Lumpy says too, get the recent DVD.
That again was great. First time there has been good discussion and analysis of those early Mothers albums and tours. Most other Zappa doc's just skip right over this period to Hot Rats I find. Posted: Tue May 12, pm. Great book. Both sides have their story. I just wish it was alot longer.
